Hunter Lowther Full Knee Wellies. The Lowther is a basic no fuss boot. Offering comfort, fit and performance, it is an ideal entry point into wellington boots. A great working boot, fit for general domestic use around the farm or the garden. Lighter weight than the Bullseye and Argyll, it is comparable in terms of generous fit, and is made from a different rubber compound.

Occasionally white marks may appear on your Hunter boots – this is known as ‘blooming’. Blooming is a common process, characteristic of natural rubber and is the rubber protecting itself from the elements. This can be removed with either warm soapy water or Hunter Boot buffer depending on the severity. It is believed that this occurs due to hot and humid weather and often a cause can be leaving your boots near to the radiator. To try and minimize this happening it is recommended that you store your boots in a cool, dry, dark location away from sources of ozone and never store boots whilst damp. If there is a lot of blooming Hunter would encourage using Hunter Boot Buffer.
