Delivery information
We are aware that during the run up to Christmas many items are purchased as gifts and so for orders for gift items placed after 1st November our returns period is extended until the 10th January.
All orders processed on a best endeavours basis. We cannot guarantee delivery on or by a set date, orders are taken for available stock items only. Available stock items may either be in stock with ourselves or with our suppliers or a combination of both. Where items are only in stock with our suppliers orders may be subject to a delay of up to 7 days whilst stock is transferred. If you are in any doubt or have any concerns regarding availability or delivery times please contact Customer Services. UK orders are despatched using a next working day courier service, deliveries to other destinations including highlands and islands will take longer.
From this website you may select UK and BFPO* (British Forces Post Office) delivery. BFPO is for delivery to British Armed Forces Addresses only. All parcels will be despatched using postal or courier services which are traceable and require a signature on delivery. At your own risk you may ask that a parcel is left in a safe place without a signature, if this is requested we will not be held liable for any loss or damage and specifically if lost following delivery your parcel will not be replaced.
The exact delivery cost is calculated automatically by the website, to see the delivery costs prior to purchase simply add the required items to your basket and then specify your delivery details. Doing this will also enable VAT to be deducted from your order when it is being delivered to a VAT exempt location, e.g. The Channel Islands. Our standard delivery cost to UK mainland destinations is £4.95. Delivery costs vary to Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Island, Channel Islands and Isles of Man. In all cases we strive to keep the cost of delivery to a minimum whilst ensuring the security and speed of delivery.
All parcels carry a basic element of insurance and are sent by ParcelForce or Royal Mail. We offer the facility to track your parcel online as well as monitoring your orders progress by logging in to your online account and obtaining the parcel tracking number when the order has been despatched.
If you require a specific delivery day or have an urgent delivery requirement please contact our Customer Services team who will be happy to arrange this for you, subject to stock availability.
*Deliveries to some BFPO locations outside the EU may be exempt from VAT. For delivery to BFPO locations within the EU a VAT exemption certificate (15(10) form) must be provided in order to qualify for VAT free status, for more information please see - www.forcesbarbour.com.
Returns information
Goods may be returned for refund or exchange within 21 days of receipt. Returned items must not be worn, soiled or damaged in any way, and must be 'as sold'. You do not need to contact us to notify us of your return, unless the item is faulty or is outside of our 21 day policy. If returning goods from outside of the EU (e.g. Channel Islands) you must attach a customs declaration clearly describing the goods as "BRITISH RETURNED GOODS". Goods must be packaged securely to ensure they are not damaged in transit.The responsibility and liability of the goods remains with you until we are in receipt of the goods. Goods are returned to us at your cost. Customers exchanging goods will be charged the appropriate delivery charge on their new order.
