How to use this site

We endeavour to produce a site which is simple to use, here are a few tips to help find your way around.

Finding your way around

All products are divided into sub categories, for instance all Men's Wax Jackets are listed under the heading 'Waxed Cotton Jackets' in the Meanswear section, whilst Barbour's range of luggage, scarves and gloves etc. are listed under the heading 'Bags & Accessories' section.

To view individual product details simply click on the product name or the product image and you will be transported to the product information screen.

Shipping and delivery

Online we offer delivery to the UK, BFPO (British Forces Post Office) addresses. Please contactus if you have any questions regarding delivery. Delivery costs are based on the weight and or the volumetric weight of the item(s) ordered and the delivery destination. Shipping costs are shown in the checkout pages before you are required to confirm your order. Our UK standard delivery charge is £4.95, excluding highlands and islands.

You can view the contents of your basket at any time by clicking on the 'My Basket' icon. If you would like further information about a particular item just click on the contact us link and send us an email or give us a call, our Customer Services team is standing by to assist you.

Your order will be packed and shipped as soon as possible.

Tracking your order online

You can log in to your online account to view the status of your order. When your order is initially received and your payment processed through our initial security screen the status of your order will be 'Paid'. When your stock is available to be picked by our distribution centre team your order status will change to 'In picking'. Once your order has been picked and packed your order status will change to 'Despatched'. Once your order has been despatched you will also be able to see your parcel tracking number. If you return any items to us from your order the order status will change to 'Returned'. Returned items will be either refunded or exchanged as per your request, subject to stock availability, we do not normally notify you of the return or refund.

Online security

We respect your on-line privacy. The payment page on our site is run from a secure server; your personal and financial details are stored in a safe and secure environment. No information submitted to The Outdoor & Country Store will be passed to third parties.
