Please be aware that sizing between manufactures and Brands often varies as all manufacturers use their own fit block. Individual garment sizes (where available) are shown on the ‘size info’ tab on each product’s information page. Please refer to this information in the first instance, but please contact us if you require any further assistance or guidance regarding sizes. Please be aware the Barbour also have a number of different fit blocks within their range, general information regarding these is shown below.

The most common reason for our customer’s having to return items to us is because they ordered the wrong size, particularly Barbour. This in part may be because Barbour’s sizing can vary across the different ranges – for example, the Heritage range is the most fitted, and the Classic range the most relaxed fit - we recommend you refer to the Size Info tab on each product page.

The Size Info tab gives you the sleeve, back and chest measurements of most garments. If you measure yourself, please remember that the measurements are of the actual item - so if it’s a jacket, for example, choose a size that gives you 4-6 inches(10-16cm) of room on the chest measurement depending on the base layers you want to wear underneath. Ideally, get a jacket that you love and fits you perfectly, measure it around the chest and order the size with the closest measurements. This is particularly important with children’s clothes as kids grow quickly, and so we recommend you allow for plenty of ‘growing’ room.
