After some slim fitting ladies boots? Look no further…
Welcome to How to Tuesdays: sometimes serious, sometimes full of fun, How to Tuesday is a monthly feature full of hints and tricks for some of life’s little problems. This month, we’re on the case finding boots that fit perfectly and feel fantastic. We’ve already discussed finding boots for wider calves, so this time we’re looking after the ladies who struggle to find boots for slimmer legs. Whether you’re after a boot for town, country, or the wet weather, we’ve done the research and found some stunning slim fit boot styles so that you can finally stop filling out your boots with ultra thick socks!
Knee High Boots for Slim Legs
In this selection, we’ve picked a country boot, a sleek, fashion-forward style, and one that’s a little bit in between! In country homes, Dubarry is a household name – renowned for their expert boot making, this Irish brand has taken the individual shape and size of every customer into consideration during the design process.
Their most famous style, the Galway boot, is a unisex, GORE-TEX® lined boot with a distinctive country feel. Crafted from a blend of crushed and smooth leathers, these all weather boots can last a lifetime with proper care! The Galway boots come in three fits : Slim, Regular and Extra. Ideal for ladies with slimmer legs, the Dubarry Galway SlimFit™ Country Boots can also be adjusted around the leg thanks to the drawstring feature.

Adjustability is the name of the game for our slimmer legged ladies. Being able to tighten up the boots to fit neatly is a feature to look out for. With that in mind, we’ve chosen the Dubarry Glanmire Boots for a slightly sleeker look that still packs a punch in the countryside. Complete with that same GORE-TEX® lining you find in the Galway boots, the Glanmire features a pretty ‘criss-cross’ elasticated lace up panel to the back of the boots, which can be pulled in tight to ensure a comfortable fit around slim legs – they’re also available in a black/brown colourway for those looking for a more city-friendly style.

Now a favourite amongst country girls and city slickers alike, the Fairfax & Favor Regina Boots are a great style for a slimmer leg. These fashion-forward Spanish boots feature a stretch panel at the back, and are cut to suit a slim leg, with a zip closure for a snug fit. Available in a range of shades, and in both smooth or suede leather, the Fairfax & Favor Regina boots are perfect for creating a smart, casual look, and feature interchangeable tassels which can be switched up for a brighter colour to really add a pop of colour to your outfit.

Wellies for Slim Legs
When it comes to wellies, ladies with slim legs are spoilt for choice. The Hunter Original Tall Boots are a popular choice for slim calves, but we’ve chosen a few other styles which you might not have seen before so you have plenty to choose from.
One of the most famous wellington boot makers in the world, Hunter are bona fide experts in their field. The latest in their Original collection, the Hunter Refined Tall Boots are a comfortable, wet weather ready style with a sleek, fashion forward finish.

Barbour’s Blyth wellies are a great option for country ladies with slim legs, as they are designed specifically with a slimmer silhouette in mind, and feature a traditional tan leather trim for that classic country finish.

For something hardy and ideal for outdoor work, the Le Chameau Vierzonord Neo Wellington Boots are a slim fitting pair of technical wellies, and a style favoured by the Duchess of Cambridge. With a warm, neoprene lining and adjustable side which can be pulled in to suit your slim legs, these are great for days out in the country, and agricultural work.
