Filson Tin Cloth
Filson Tin Cloth has been described as a shield against the elements. It inherited its name from the Pacific Northwest loggers who dubbed the tough fabric ‘Tin Cloth’ because it shielded them from sharp limbs and saw blades! Developed over 100 years ago by C.C. Filson, Tin Cloth is a tightly woven waxed cotton. Water-repellent and tear-resistant, Filson Tin Cloth cotton is milled in Scotland and coated with a Filson proprietary oil-finish wax.
