If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend and live near the Midlands (or even if you don’t) then get yourself over to the Derbyshire County Show. It takes place this Sunday the 23rd June and with an expected attendance of 16,000 people on the day and a range of exhibitions there’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained.
What Can You Expect At The Derbyshire County Show
You can expect an action packed day full of fun and festivities in the Middle of Elvaston Castle Country Park, just outside of Derby and with tickets at only £11 per adult and £8 per child you’re on to a bargain.
The day starts ay 8am and goes right through to 5.30pm with the main attraction being the Adrenaline Tour quad and motorbike stunt and display team. If that isn’t enough to make you sit up and take notice then take a look at Cyril the Squirrel and his racing terriers – they have to be seen to be believed!
The rest of the show is more traditional in terms of the exhibitions with everything from the usual equestrian and livestock exhibitors to vintage cars and horticultural tents.
The 2013 Derbyshire County show has been a long time coming and people havebeen working hard in the background organising the whole event to ensureits success. So if you want something to do this Sunday then get yourself along, support them and make 2013 its biggest and best year.
