Hunter Wellies are the top choice for Festival go-ers
There’s no denying it, there was only one item to be seen in this year down on Worthy Farm, and that’s the classic Hunter Boot: Tall, Short or Chelsea, anyone who is anyone was donning the original welly boots to the iconic festival. From models to musicians, we’ve picked our favourite looks from the festival, and you might notice they all have something in common…
Glastonbury Fashion 2016 – Women’s Festival Outfits
There’s nothing quite like festival fashion, and this year the girls brought a range of outfits as diverse as the Glastonbury line up. Model Lottie Moss kept it chic in monochrome and Hunter Original Chelsea Boots, while musician Ellie Goulding went for the Hunter Original Tall boot in black, pairing them with an oversized check shirt and black shorts. Fashion designer and wife of Hunter Creative Director Alasdhair Willis Stella McCartney went for a bold overcoat and a pair of Hunter Field boots: ideal for the mud!
Our stand out look of the weekend came from festival fashion icon, model and presenter Alexa Chung for her edgy fusion of heritage and contemporary styling. Teaming a Barbour waxed jacket with high-shine leggings isn’t easy to pull off, but Alexa somehow manages it!
Glastonbury Fashion 2016 – Men’s Festival Outfits
For the men this year, they kept it practical and stylish by layering, and teaming warm jeans with their classic Hunter boots. Muse front man Matt Bellamy and Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw both opted for leather shearling jackets, with matte black Hunter Original boots, while actor Nicholas Hoult chose a neutral Harrington jacket and Hunter Field wellies with a cap and sunglasses for a low key look.
Our favourite look from the men however has to be from actor Luke Evans, with his cooler and cool leather jacket draped over the shoulder, tartan print tee and Hunter boots. He finishes the look off with a practical backpack – a festival must have.
