Le Chameau x National Trust | New & Exclusive Wellies
We love a good collaboration here at Outdoor and Country! With that in mind, let us introduce you to this season’s newest team – Le Chameau and the National Trust. Both powerhouses in their respective fields, this partnership brings together much-loved and expertly crafted wellington boots with Europe’s largest conservation charity.
Inspired by a shared dedication to the outdoors and united by heritage, quality and innovation, Le Chameau and the National Trust have encouraged generations to embrace the natural world. Now these brand new wellies are here to reflect their commitment to both conservation and craft.
About The Boots

Heritage Meets Craftsmanship
The first thing to note about these new boots is that they are created with the same care and quality as all Le Chameau wellingtons. Handcrafted by an expert bootmaker, these wellies feature an updated insole which is removeable and antibacterial. The dual density sole is shock-absorbing, with anti-fatigue arch support reinforcing the protection and comfort these boots provide. The wellingtons also have an adjustable strap to allow you to create the perfect fit. And, of course, they are 100% waterproof.
This exclusive new Vierzon wellington boot launches on the 60th anniversary of the original style, as a joint celebration of heritage and development. It also coincides with the 130th anniversary of the National Trust. It’s a testament to craftsmanship that the charity can proudly put their name on Le Chameau’s most sustainably made welly to date.
About The Design
The Colour
“Vert Chêne” is the new and exclusive colourway for the Le Chameau x National Trust wellington boots. Roughly translated to “Oak Green”, this dark, woody green shade is inspired by the oak tree of the National Trust logo. The tree is also honoured in the unique logo that sits proudly on the front of each boot.

The Lining
With access to the National Trust’s archive of photographs documenting centuries of architecture, textiles, and patterns, the Le Chameau design team had plenty of inspiration for the lining of the new Vierzon boots. The resulting bespoke Écho lining print is inspired by Buckland Abbey, a National Trust property in Devon. It also incorporating the ‘C’ of Le Chameau as a foundational element.
The two-way monogram print is showcased in two different colours for the men’s and women’s boots. Crafted from the high quality Le Chameau Vierzon jersey cotton fabric, you can be sure of all day comfort. Sustainability shines through with the boot lining, as the organic fabric has been designed so that it can be cut in any direction to minimise material waste during production.
The Finishing Touch
Every pair of wellington boots needs a reliable boot bag for protection (and to protect your car and house from muddy boots, of course!) You can find an exclusive Le Chameau x National Trust wellington boot bag to match your brand new wellies here.

At its heart, this collaboration is about more than just footwear. It’s about celebrating a shared love of the great outdoors. Both Le Chameau and the National Trust have long inspired people to step outside, explore, and connect with nature. The new Vierzon wellingtons are a true reflection of that passion. From the carefully chosen oak-inspired colour to the sustainably crafted lining, every detail speaks to a respect for heritage, craft, and conservation. These boots aren’t just built to last; they’re designed to carry you further into the landscapes that shape us, reminding us that caring for the outdoors begins with enjoying it.
