The Odyssey collection consists of four coats and jackets in two deep and classic colours. Their timeless designs ensure they are suited to women of all ages and styles, making them both versatile and inclusive. The collaboration is championed by none other than Zara Tindall, long-time Musto ambassador and a very familiar face in the world of British equestrian sport.
We love the beautiful, elegant appearance of these coats, but it’s the details and features which mark them as a true celebration of the best of both of these premium brands. Firstly, Musto has a reputation for high quality outdoor clothing and has supplied sailors with technical and functional layers for decades. This expertise is apparent throughout the Odyssey collection. Meanwhile, the intricate finishing touches, gold hardware, and quintessentially British style can only have come from Fairfax & Favor.
Odyssey Waterproofs
The Odyssey waterproof jackets will keep you outside even on the wettest of days. With a jacket and a long coat to choose from, this outerwear is perfect for everything from dog walks to the school run. Rainclouds on the horizon? Don’t worry about it! These coats showcase an outer material that has a BR2 10k waterproof rating. Single digit temperatures? Not a problem! You’ll also benefit from a top quality PrimaLoft Eco insulating lining to protect you on frosty mornings.
Both long and short versions of the waterproof jackets feature a removeable hood, fleece lined collar, adjustable waist and cuffs, and large pockets with hand warmer spaces. On top of this, the designs are beautifully complete with gold metal detailing and hardware, adding a premium finish.
Odyssey Quilts
The Odyssey puffer-style coats are a real luxury to wear. Crafted from a Pertex Pro fabric, the outer material is highly water resistant, with a ripstop element ensuring durability. This fabric also has a microporous coating to guard against wind, rain, and snow. As if this wasn’t enough, each quilted section of these coats is generously filled with PrimaLoft Thermoplume Cross Core insulation to provide exceptional warmth. This technology was developed by NASA, highlighting the extreme dedication and thought that has gone into the design of these products.
Despite the premium outer fabric and layers of insulation, the Pertex coats remain breathable and lightweight. The shorter jacket has a sporty feel that is ideal for everyday wear, whether to the shops or on a weekend getaway. Meanwhile the longline coat gives you the perfect excuse to book that Alpine log cabin getaway you’ve always dreamed of. Both versions are complete with large, adjustable hoods, lined pockets, and, of course, Fairfax’s iconic gold detailing.
