We chatted to pampeano designer, Rali to find out more about these timeless products and the pampeano brand…
Q: What is your role in the design team at pampeano?
I am the main designer of all pampeano products from belts to dog collars. I ensure our leather is locally sourced from Argentina with the highest quality and that the thread colours chosen embody the Argentinian lifestyle.
Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself…
I’ve been with pampeano for 4 years, I am often out and about taking photos of the places I visit around the country with my dog Buddy. I love a good crime drama TV show, alongside my love for Earl Grey tea.
Q. What’s your favourite thing about working at pampeano?
I love the team I work with; we have such a collaborative nature which enables me to develop ideas that turn into beautiful products. Plus the office dogs are a perk too!
Q: What does a typical day look like for you?
My days vary so much and our collaborative team keep me busy with new ideas that help me think of something new to introduce into pampeano, it is one of the main reasons I love working here.
Q: Where do you draw inspiration from?
All of our products are inspired by a South American lifestyle, the warm tones of pampeano heritage is the core focus in all of our products. Our team visits Argentina each year to develop new ideas for products and additional designs to our range.
Q: What makes pampeano products so special?
When we go out to Argentina, we hand-pick the leather that is locally sourced to the La Pampa region for all of our products alongside all the other components that make up our stunning product range, this way we ensure the unparalleled quality of pampeano products.
Q: What can we expect to see from pampeano next?
We are looking into a completely new belt design and colour ways ready for the next season that we think our customers are going to love!
