The Racing calendars No.1 event is almost here; The Badminton Horse Trials are a world class event – in fact it’s one of only six world class sporting events – so we’re talking serious kudos. Running from Wednesday 1st May to Saturday 7th May, the trials expect to attract over 150,000 visitors to the 52,000-acre estate in the stunning countryside of Gloucestershire.
Badminton attracts some of the world’s best riders and horse combinations and is known for being one of the toughest events in the equestrian world. Whether you’re there to see the dressage, cross-country or show jumping or just there to soak it all in – we can help with one thing at the top of most visitors lists; what to wear…
Badminton Horse Trials don’t have an official dress code. You can keep it casual or you can go full out country – the choice is yours. However, it’s worth remembering that it’s a long day with a lot of time spent on your feet – so think practical, comfort, county inspired styling and of course a little bit of tweed always goes a long way.
