Rated 3 out of 5 by Celia Linney from Where are the old Argyll? I have worn argyll boots for certainly 35 years, however the current style is sadly not the same and i havent been able to find a replacement that is as comfortable as the old ones. Also the rubber splits and perishes within a very short time. I miss my old argylls which fitted like a glove and i could wear all day.

Rated 3 out of 5 by JohnB from Hesitant I’ve owned boots of this model (formerly Bullseye) for over 20 years - they’ve always been comfortable and durable. The last two pairs however have suffered from failure of the seams between the uppers and soles, on the outer edges about 10cm back from the toe caps. Result, water ingress. And no, I don’t have corns! In both cases the boots were less than two years old. Before I order a third pair has anyone else suffered this fault? Or has the design or materials been improved to stop this happening?
