Rated 5 out of 5 by Sabine from tough boots worth the price Our first pair withstood a year of hard wear -- I mean nearly daily wear by an energetic child who uses them for his 'Fireman Sam' persona, including dragging along the pavement or streets to brake his scooter or pushbike. Only about a month ago did the sides start cracking and the soles wear thin enough to reveal the square holes underneath the heels. So this second pair feels like a fair investment, and though these boots are more expensive than the local cheap and cheerful varieties, they also withstand so much more wear and tear. I'd rather buy once a year than every few months and go easier on the landfill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cakes from Just as expected! I'm a size 6 in women and I decide to buy the kids size 5 and save me some money & I am very satisfied with my purchase! :) It's not too tight so wearing socks with it would be perfect.

Do the children’s wellingtons come just below the knee or are they shorter?
They come just below the knee. But I actually bought them for myself (definitely not a child (!)... but a size 3/4 and 5 foot. So if buying for a child they would be a bit taller. Not a short boot in terms of height. Hope that helps.
