Light weight and very flexible
I’ve only owned the boots for a month and I’ve only worn them twice. What struck me most was how light weight they are and how soft and flexible the rubber is. I have been wearing muck boots for years and they are warm yet very heavy and rigid. Muck boot quality is now very poor and the sole has dropped off my last four pairs so I’m very hopeful that the le chameau quality is as they claim...... fingers crossed.

Excellent
Purchased the welly's at a very good price at the sale.
Delivered promptly, I wore them straight out of the very nice box they arrived in.
Extremely comfortable from the get go. No need to "break in".
I had hunters before which were used but looked after and they lasted 7 years. Having paid a bit more for these than my hunters I am hoping they will last just as long or longer.

I wear a 9.5 , will the size 9 be okay ?
Thank you for your question and interest in our products.
Le Chameau recommend that you allow space for thicker socks or trousers if you normally wear these inside your boots, therefore if you prefer a generous fit for prolonged use, or are between sizes, they recommend that you choose the size above your regular shoe size.
If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Are they a wide fit? I’m concerned about that and whether they are too tight around the ankle. I’m looking at the Aigle Parcours Vario 2 which claims a snug fit to aid support. How do they compare? Also, as long as a piece of string but how hard wearing
Thank you for your question and interest in our products.
We can confirm that these boots are not described by the brand as a wide fit style. Our internal feedback suggests that the Le Chameau boot is 2cm slimmer on the calf, whereas the Aigle is more fitted at the ankle. Should you wish for a slightly wider fit, we would recommend the Aigle boots.
Both boots are equally as hardwearing as each other provided the boots are appropriately cared for. Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of any further assistance.
