Rated 3 out of 5 by Nig0610 from A good jacket that could be great Firstly, this is a really nice jacket. It looks good and many folks have commented on it. It's a good jacket but with a few design tweaks it could be a great jacket. I live in the Scottish highlands and bought this jacket for use out in all weathers but here lies the problem. Compared to other tweed field jackets I have this is not a true field jacket for the following reasons. 1- the outer material holds the rain like a sponge. 2- the pocket liners although comfortable should have a waterproof membrane between them the the outer fabric as they get soaked and also hold the water. 3- cartridge pockets are comfortable material rather the waterproof material and for the same reasons above hold water like a sponge when flap is clipped open for access. It wouldnt take much to change but these things let the jacket down when used for it's intended use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Great Dane from Way to big The jacket is at least two sizes larger than other Barbour coats I have bought. You need to add that to the description.
