Ultra lightweight for the summer months, this Barbour women's gilet creates a classic country look without added weight or bulk. Not the best and with sizing problems
Item arrived in excellent packing and in a timely manner and requires five stars. The Gilet is a nice colour and looks smart but the sizing is a problem, more like a thick second skin than a comfortable fit. Skimming on sizes for expensive items is not good practice and of late Barbour is not improving on this point with several items having to be returned for similar reasons. One can go up a size and this is an option on a gilet but with jackets and coats the sleeves become a problem.
It would be nice if Barbour could revert to the traditional English sizes when they were made here and not in the Far East.
