Poor Quality
I was given my first pair of Balmoral Wellingtons three years ago. Initially I was delighted with them. I liked the style and they were very comfortable to walk in. I wear them everyday for about an hour during the winter months to walk the dog etc.
I imagined boots of this quality would last for years and years but have just noticed that cracks have appeared on the ankles of both boots. The soles are hardly worn. When I looked at reviews for these boots I found I was by no means the only one to have this experience. I thought Hunter was a quality brand. It seems this is not so. I'm afraid I will be looking at other brands for my next pair.

Unhappy customer from
Incorrect size data
I bought a pair of these for my wife at her request, after she carefully checked all the size data. On receipt the boots were much taller (37.5 cm) than stated on the web site.(31.0 cm). As a result they were unwearable as they cut into her upper leg when bent.
I am very disappointed at the incorrect representation of size data. Surely this is a simple thing to get right for a critical measurement for an online purchase.
I have returned the boots and look forward to an early refund, although I have been informed by Hunter that there may be a delay of up to a month due to Covid quarantine issues. While I accept that this is an issue, I am not happy at the delay.

Is there any care instructions for the neoprene? I have a pair of these at the moment but the ankles have cracked and I wonder if there was anything I could have done to avoid this?
I’m afraid the same happens to my boots , also the toe split too. I only had them 3 months,. Granted I’m a sheep farmer so Worked them hard, though I cleaned them after every use, I expected a lot longer time before any wear and tear would emerge. I then invested in a pair of muck boots, they are the best boots I’ve bought. Sorry for the bad review but being a sheep farmer I need boots that are going to last.
