Dryrobe began in 2010, when surfer Gideon Bright created an entirely new product and category of clothing. Unofficially, it began in 1983 when his mother created a waterproof robe to keep him warm while he surfed around the Atlantic coast. Bright reinvented this design using high quality materials, quickly becoming popular with fellow surfers.
The Advance Dryrobe is the hero of the brand and is the original outdoor changing robe. You’ll also find the Dryrobe Towel Robe, a more lightweight design perfect for warmer months. The original Dryrobe design features waterproof and fleece lined materials to keep you warm and dry, while providing a private space to change in and out of swimwear or sports clothing. Many of the brand's products are also now sustainably produced, made from either 100% recycled fabrics or 100% organic cotton.
